What information is involved
Most visitors do not need to provide identifying information. The following limited information may be processed:
If you create an alert, we store your email address, selected properties, consent record, confirmation status, alert history and private access token in hashed form.
Our web host may record an IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and error or security information in standard server logs. A hashed network identifier may be used briefly to prevent repeated form abuse.
The property information displayed by the site comes primarily from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data and authorised listing sources. It is public or licensed property data, not information collected from website visitors.
Property alerts
Property alerts are optional service messages. We use the email address and selected property because you ask us to monitor it and consent to receiving those messages. Alerts are not consent to marketing.
We send a confirmation link before alerts become active. The private link in an alert lets you view or remove monitored properties without a password, so it should not be forwarded. Public users can monitor up to three properties.
You can remove a property at any time from your monitor page. If all monitors are removed, the remaining account and delivery records are periodically deleted when no longer needed for service administration, security or legal obligations.
Why limited data is used
Search information is used to provide the result you requested. Alert information is used to compare property records, send requested changes and let you manage the service. Technical logs may be used to keep the website available, diagnose errors, prevent misuse and protect the service.
For service and security processing we rely, as appropriate, on your request and consent and on our legitimate interests in operating a useful and secure website. We balance those interests against visitor privacy by avoiding behavioural analytics, advertising technology and unnecessary collection.
Technical records are retained only for as long as reasonably required for security, fault diagnosis and hosting operations, then deleted or overwritten according to the relevant service provider’s retention cycle.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to its use. You can remove monitored properties directly through your private link.
